If there is not
enough money in selling airfares, why not concentrate on the land
arrangements?
Of course, in
order to do that, the travel agent must have thorough knowledge
and preferably first hand experience of the "product",

worry about whether to sell what's on the GDS or if they should
use consolidators or try to book more fares on the Web on behalf

But the airfare

an incredible amount of useful and detailed information, lead postcards,
