Ixtapa Island Adventure with Biologist Pablo Mendizabal

BIKING - KAYAK - SNORKELING AND NATURE CONTEMPLATION

Meet Pablo at his home in Ixtapa, from where the bicycle tour will start; through the residential area of the Palma Real Golf Course and along a 4 mile bike path, watching the most representative plants and animals of the area. After visiting the crocodile pit at Playa Linda, you will board your kayak and row to Ixtapa Island (about 15 minutes), where you will snorkel for an hour, admiring all the beauty of a coral reef. Afterward kayak back to Playa Linda and finally bike along the bicycle course another 4 miles to the Ixtapa Marina.

Around 1:30 PM, just around the time for lunch, you are ready to return to the hotel, or spend a little more time in Ixtapa, for example at one of the Marina waterfront restaurants.

Note: We suggest you depart from the hotel at 7:40 AM. The taxi ride takes about 20 minutes. Take along sunscreen and a towel. You might also want to take some fruit or a light box lunch or have a snack at the Ixtapa Island or Playa Linda or, since it is a 6 hour tour with plenty of exercise. The cost of food and beverages is not included. The cost includes the bicycle, helmet, kayak, snorkeling equipment, as well as a swim-live vest and purified drinking water.
