Dear Visitor.

While you plan your escape to Zihuatanejo or already enjoy the casual elegance and warm hospitality of your hotel, allow us to tell you a little bit about the place you have chosen for your vacation: Mexico's most romantic beach resort ...Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo and it's beautiful surroundings.

Zihuatanejo is a word that finds its origin in the Purepecha culture and means "Place governed by women". Our home state, Guerrero, was catapulted to worldwide fame many years ago, when the international jet set chose Acapulco as a "secret" getaway. You may also have heard of Taxco, called the "silver city" because of the mines and exquisite jewelry that comes from this ancient mountain village. Our neighbor state to the north and east, Michoacan, is not only very beautiful; it also hosts some of the most talented artisans of the nation. And then, of course, there is Oaxaca in the south of Guerrero, where the great Zapoteca and Mixteca Indian cultures have prospered in spite of modern time's influence. It's an overnight excursion, if you want to visit these and some other spectacular places.

But back to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo and the activities and the excursions we have prepared for you here: How about the fulfilling experience of creating an exquisite Mexican meal? This includes shopping at the local market, the preparation and, of course, the delight of savoring it. Or maybe some exercise to burn those extra calories? Chose between a bicycle picnic tour through the ecological reserve or a journey on horseback along Playa Larga. For your seafaring pleasures, we have chartered the most beautiful sailboat. The deep sea fishing along our coast is at par with the best in the country. Relish our barefoot sophistication while you're here and, just maybe, you want to spend more time with us in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo; we would be honored to show you some inspired landscaping and architecture for your investment or spark your imagination for the design of your next vacation home. We are sure you will find plenty that suits your interests and if you are still looking for something different, please allow us to prepare your personal excursion "a la Carte".
